So frustrating trying to get a paying gig in NYC, even one that pays enough so that the bandleader won’t have to spend more than $200 to play! That’s why I’m playing with The Lucky Otters in my own damn house! We’ll serve up light fare and booze and pass the hat. I’m betting that will be a better deal than playing in 95% of the NYC club scene…
